Rev. Jeff Switzer, is a native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and attended Asbury Theological Seminary receiving a Master’s of Divinity in 1995. Jeff received his Doctorate of Ministry from Trinity Theological Seminary in 2006, with emphases in biblical studies and pulpit communication. This also identifies his passion as a preacher, namely, to clearly and practically communicate God’s word to God’s people.

 He served as pastor in Tupelo, MS for seven years before moving to Sandtown UMC in Philadelphia, MS, where he also served for seven years.  Jeff is the former president of the Mississippi Fellowship of United Methodist Evangelicals, a renewal group within the Mississippi Annual Conference, in association with the Confessing Movement. He also has served on the national boards of Good News and the Confessing Movement.

Jeff and Cindy, now married for 23 years, have three children – Hannah, 21; Timothy, 19; and Jonathan, 15.   Jeff’s hobbies and interests include spending time with his precious wife, reading, watching sports (especially keeping up with his Dallas Cowboys), and exercise.
